Delicious Dinner at Bonefish Grill
What makes a great ending to a wonderful 49th anniversary? I would say a delicious dinner at Bonefish Grill. As we walked in, we were pleasantly greeted and escorted to our table. It didn’t take long for the waitress to arrive and asked for our beverage order.
She then asked about appetizers and since I love their Bang Bang Shrimp, we ordered that, served on a bed of lettuce and tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce, but we asked for the spicy sauce on the side.
When she asked if we would like bread with a little butter, I jumped up and told her of course, but I would like a LOT of butter! Their bread is the BEST and it was served warm. It comes with oil and parsley to dip the bread in, but I love it with just butter. As the waitress was chatting with us, she asked how our day was and I mentioned we were celebrating our 49th wedding anniversary.
The shrimp was brought out and as usual, that was so good! As soon as we finished that, the waitress brought out the warm, delicious bread. Shortly after, a manager came over and asked how everything was and he then offered hubby and me a complimentary champagne toast for our anniversary. We thought that was so nice, but we graciously declined. My favorite is still water with lemon.
When our meals were brought out, they were picture perfect and almost too pretty to eat! Rich had a delicious wood fired grilled rib eye, medium well, and it was perfectly cooked. His sides were french fries and sauteed spinach.
I love salmon so of course I knew I would order salmon. On the Catch of the Day menu, I choose the Wild Sockeye Salmon with lemon/butter sauce. (Remember I love butter!)
The sides of steamed broccoli and the most mouth water potatoes au gratin you could imagine were so delicious! The crunching topping is mouthwatering delicious. The portions were super, in fact the piece of salmon was more than I have ever seen in a restaurant and I ended up bringing half of it home for a snack or another meal.
As Rich and I were finishing up our dinner, the waitress come over, and this time we were offered a complimentary Creme Brulee for our anniversary dessert. When it comes to dessert, I had to graciously accept that! For those that don’t know what Creme Brulee is, it’s a scrumptious custard with a caramelized topping, whipped cream and fresh raspberries with a mint leaf. It even had a candle on the side!
Our evening was wonderful, our waitress was cheerful and pleasant and the meal was not only cooked to perfection, it was the tastiest ever! Thank you Bonefish Grill for helping make our 49th anniversary even more special.
If you are in the North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area, be sure to stop by BONEFISH GRILL on Highway 17 and you may even be lucky enough to have Pamela D. as your waitress!
