Dash Egg Cooker

I recently visited my daughter and son-in-law in Virginia and every time I go up there she has all kinds of goodies in my room. This time she had the mother load all set up to welcome me. I not only had a box of snacks, water, body lotion and fancy soap but she even had a big stuffed monkey for Snowball! There was also a new pair of fuzzy slippers, a bottle storage holder and a Dash Egg Cooker waiting for me! After I got home I found the perfect solution to store all the extra cooking components by using a clear plastic container the exact size for everything and the egg cooker sits on top. Everything is right at my fingertips when I want to cook up some eggs.

When I got home I was excited to make hard boiled eggs in my new cooker and it is so easy! You fill the bottom of the maker with water, put the egg holder on it (you can double stack them if you want to boil a dozen) and after you poke a hole in the large end of the eggs, put them in the tray and push a bottom. It shuts off automatically when they are done. I don’t know how the machine knows when they are done but after I set them in ice water for a bit I gave them a try. They pealed very easy and the eggs were cooked to perfection!

But that’s not all it does, you can soft boil or poach the eggs, omelettes and even make egg bites! I tried those also, mixing 2 eggs, some crumbled bacon and shredded cheese together and poured the mixture in the silicone egg cookers. Cover and push the start button and it knows when they are fully cooked!

It was fun watching them cook and when the timer went off I was ready to make my own bacon, egg, cheese biscuit! I’m so happy with my new Dash egg cooker that Chris had waiting for me on my visit. She is the best daughter and I love when I visit them or they come down to South Carolina to visit.
