It’s Friday Story Time by Lia and look at the cute apron and chef hat I received from Dapper and Doll. Since I LOVE to bake I will wear it a lot.

I love the pretty blue color and it even has a big pocket across the front of the apron. It has a strap that goes around the neck and can be easily adjusted with a plastic buckle. Mama put the strap on the opposite way so the extra fabric length is on the inside of the apron and it won’t get in the way of my baking. As I grow bigger I can make the strap longer and the apron will fit me until I’m at least 10 years old! The chef hat has elastic on the back so it stays on my head perfectly and I have growing room with that too. The fabric is soft but sturdy polyester, it comes in a variety of colors and it’s washable so it will be ready for my next baking project.

I love to help GGmama with cookie baking, look at these fun ones we’re making. They have sprinkles in them and are delicious.

Papa came in the kitchen to see if the cookies were ready and I told him he had to wait a bit longer. I didn’t tell papa the batter was done and I was going to lick the beater!

Cookies are all baked, cooled and ready to eat! We made two kinds because mommy loves my chocolate ones rolled in sugar and I like the vanilla with sprinkle ones. Papa likes those too!

Look what Mama did, she embroidered a butterfly and my name on the front of my apron! I love butterflies and was so surprised when I put it on the next time I got ready to bake.

I hope you liked reading about my cute apron and chef hat for Friday Story Time by Lia. I’ll be ready to bake lots of cookies and cakes with mama and be all in style!

If, I had a little one I would just have to get the apron for them.. My son had a Hanover apron that my mother gave him. That was what he wore when we backed. He still has it in his trouser chest that keeps of things that remind him of my mother.

Awww that’s so sweet that your son still cherishes things that remind him of he gramma. The ivy apron that Lia has been wearing is one that her mommy wore when she was Lia age and baked with me. So many memories when I’m doing things with Lia. Thanks for visiting Brenda.
