Color of the Day is Turquoise
Did you know turquoise can be more blue or more green? Today the color of the day is Turquoise.
Turquoise crystal meaning was considered a sacred stone by the Native Americans who used it as a powerful healing tool for creating a connection between heaven and Earth. My hubby has a special bolo tie that he has had for what seems forever. It has a turquoise stone in the center of a sterling silver arrowhead. Lia is modeling GGPapa’s bolo tie along with her handmade Wonder Woman power wrist bands made from a pair of shoes that were too small! LOL
My granddaughter gave me a beautiful wind chime for my birthday. It has a turquoise little bird perched on top with a turquoise colored glass at the bottom that gentle sways in the breeze and makes lovely music as the tubes hit together.
Do you like this color? What do you have for the Color of the Day is Turquoise?
The windchime is awesome. I’m going to have dig on this on. Not sure I have anything Turquoises here at the house.
TBD.
Ms. Lia is precious!!!
Not sure where Alexandra got it but I love the color. This challenge has been so exciting but we are getting into some challenge colors next week. We can do it Nancy!
I find turquoise to be alluring.
It does seem to have a captivating look to it Roy. Thanks for stopping by.
I love that wind chime!!
Alexandra has great tastes Brenda!
Loving your Color of the Day posts. I thought about joining in as well … maybe now?
Love Lia’s power wrist bands !!! they were the first thing I noticed 🙂 as always, innovative….
No time like the present to start Vidya! Lia’s “wrist bands” where her shoes when she was size 4, she is now size 7! I cut the toes out and slit the center so she could use them in her wading pool. But when she put them on her wrists, it reminded me of Wonder Woman! Let me know if you join in the colors, I’ll send you the list.
Turquoise is a favorite colour. Its like a little piece of sea and a lot of the sky.Love Lia and the bird pic
I remember when my mom had been in a sleeping state for almost two weeks, not opening her eyes or moving. When we went to the hospital we told her it was okay for her to go see her mom and dad. After she heard us, she opened her eyes, closed them, opened them again and spoke with her eyes. I knew she heard us. The think that got me was when she opened her regular color blue eyes they were the most beautiful turquoise color. I will never forget the look and color of her eyes Amrita.
That is a very pretty color.
Yes turquoise is another one of my favorites Amanda.
