Color of the Day is Neon Lights

It’s Sunday so for the Color of the Day Challenge it’s Pick Your Favorite Neon. Did you know that neon lighting consists of brightly glowing, electrified glass tubes or bulbs that contain rarefied neon or other gases? For my pick of today the Color of the Day is Neon Lights.

I love going through the drive through Christmas light show displays, they have so many different displays set up. One of the shows in Conway, SC had this construction vehicle in neon green, blue and yellow. It sure lights up against the dark sky.

This was one of my favorites. This was at a show in North Myrtle Beach, SC and this gorgeous royal blue neon ornament was large enough for people to sit inside of it and have their picture taken.

I like how the reflection of this neon sign hits the ground. As we entered this light show display, we were greeted with this sign.

The red, white and blue neon lights made up this “God Bless America” sign at the end of the light show. What a great display for color of the day is neon lights at both of these fine Christmas light shows.
