Color of the Day is Neon Crayons

For the Color of the Day Challenge, each Sunday was to pick your favorite Neon. Out of the entire challenge the Sunday Neon colors have been the most challenging. But today is the last of it and my Color of the Day is Neon Crayons.

Throughout the month, every time I got to a Sunday and started thinking about what I would find for Neon, the song Chasing the Neon Rainbow, sung by Alan Jackson would pop in my head. I’ve been signing it all month! 🤣 So I thought I would share his song with you and also the neon lyrics!

Lia loves to draw and I had a box of crayons that started out as her mommy’s back over 20 years ago! I decided to break down and get her some new crayons that weren’t broken in tiny pieces. I was surprised when I found a package of NEON CRAYONS!

Now this is what I call a handful of NEON CRAYONS!!! Lia wrapped her tiny hand around them and made her own NEON RAINBOW with crayons! Do you see the little hearts she drew on the second picture? She loves drawing shapes and lets us know what they are while drawing them. So again, she’s learning while having fun.

This sure has been an exciting Color of the Day Challenge and I’m happy to say that the Neon challenge didn’t get to me since my color of the day is Neon Crayons. Oh and they were only a dollar at Dollar Tree!
