Color of the Day is Green
Day 2 of this challenge is to come up with something green. I see a few things in Color of the Day is Green.
Coming up with something green wasn’t hard at all. Hubby and I love the mountains and when we sneak away to the Great Smokys in western North Carolina we see our share of beautiful green trees and mountains.
The green makes an eye appealing backdrop for the wildlife roaming around the fields. While driving through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park the fields are filled with wild turkeys.
But what else is green…..oh yes, MONEY!!!! Since we receive comp rooms and meals at Harrah’s Cherokee when we go to the mountains we stop by the gaming floor for a few minutes. Back in March 2017 we went up for my birthday and what a great birthday it was.
I hit the jackpot and got lots of green! We cut our trip two days short because I was nervous carrying a large sum of money around. But we saw beautiful green mountains, green fields with wildlife and my pocket was lined with green!
Can’t have a better time at the mountains and with Color of the Day is Green I’m hoping we will be able to get back there sometime soon.
Congrats on the disposable greens!
Thanks Roy, this was a few years ago, great birthday present!
I love the outdoor mountain photos.
Mountains are Rich and my favorite place to visit Brenda. It’s so peaceful just staring into the beautiful trees highlighted with the blue sky.
Interesting, are we doing colors this month? Our farm is in the foothills of the Serria Madera Mountains and at least half of the forest is green all year. I am a big fan of eating something fresh and green daily and it is usually in the form of a large salad. And the 200 peso banknote is green so I have todays color covered.
Color of the Day challenge was thought up by blogger Glenda Cates who writes the Mommies Reviews. Her son did this as one of his homeschool projects. It’s not to late to enter Chef William!!! You could come up with colors of your foods!
Is the color green pretty? I can’t see it very well.
There are so many shades of green Amanda and all so pretty, I love the smell of fresh cut green grass!
