Color of the Day is Craft Glitter

It’s Saturday so that means it’s pick your favorite glitter day! Today my Color of the Day is Craft Glitter! Lia loves doing crafts and her favorite embellishment to her creations is adding glitter!

This was Lia’s first glitter project! Well since she was only 4 months old for her 1st Christmas she added her smile and mommy added the decorations and glitter! The 1st Christmas ornament had a combinations of pink and purple glitter!

For Lia’s 2nd Christmas, she was becoming quite a pro at making crafts. Her Christmas ornament was her handprint turned into Santa Claus. We added wiggly eyes, a cotton ball at the end of Santa’s hat and lots of pink glitter on his hat and finger beard!

For mommy’s birthday this year Lia made an adorable butterfly and flower from her hand and feet prints. Again, she doused them with more pink glitter.

Even when there isn’t a special occasion, Lia loves to show her creative side. These are a few of her original art creations. She loves adding glitter, I think we have to get another bottle of pink glitter soon, this one is almost gone!

Lia loves to visit the neighbors but since the stay at home orders she has not been able to visit her best friend Ruth. She and I made signs to hold up at the end of our driveway so Ruth and Lia could wave hi! Yes they were. Covered with glitter! Did you know they make GLITTER crayons? I found these at Dollar Tree and they are perfect for Lia when she just wants to make her circles and ovals!

It’s not just a favorite glitter color but an entire glitter crafting project day! It was fun coming up with today’s Color of the Day is Craft Glitter for the Color of the Day Challenge.
