Color of the Day is Blue

For day 4 the color of the day is blue. This was so easy since Lia just received a beautiful blue apron and chef hat. But wait until you see my other blue day items!

How’s this for color of the day is blue! There are so many shades of blue but this is such a happy shade! Lia received this apron and chef hat from a new company and she will be writing a review on it for her Friday Story Time! Since Lia loves butterflies I embroidered one with her name on the front of the apron.

My hubby has been a LA Dodger fan of over 70 years. He says “Win or lose it’s Dodger BLUE!! This little sweetheart on the left is Lia at about 9 months old in her LA Dodger outfit! Gotta keep up with the tradition of her mommy at about the same age in her Dodger gear, right down to the socks.

I love watching our backyard birds and watching the bluebirds build a nest is so exciting.

Blue sky to the blue water, it’s so peaceful looking at both. Lia and GGpapa are walking the beach with the big ocean blue behind them. I like how the water seems to meet the sky. The other picture is the Intercoastal Waterway taken from the water looking towards land.

Blue has alway been my favorite color. I remember when I was in 3rd or 4th grade the teacher asked us to bring in something blue, I brought in a Prussian Blue crayon, one of the Crayola crayon colors! This is one of my favorite blue shirts, I took this idea from my blogger friend Nancy Smith who had a picture of her orange shirt yesterday!
