Cinnamon Crescent Rolls

Today is Friday Story Time by Lia again and I want to share my cinnamon crescent rolls recipe with you.

These were easy to make using a tube of Pillsbury Crescent roll dough. First I carefully unrolled the dough then pulled the sections apart where they were marked like little dots. Next I added butter to each triangle and on four of them I sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar mixture. The other four I left plain with just the butter. I rolled the dough up and added a little more cinnamon and sugar to the ones that had it inside. The baking sheets might look ready for new ones but these belonged to my great great grandmother and Ma used them when she was younger!

It only took about 9 minutes to bake and while I was waiting for them to get finished I made Cinnamon Toast Crunch hot chocolate for Ma and me. It even had mini marshmallows mixed in.

When the rolls and hot chocolate were ready Snowball jumped up on his chair and waited for one. He sits and waits until we tell him he can eat, just like a person.

Don’t they look good? Since Ma had a broken wrist I wanted to make breakfast for her and me while mommy was at work. You can add other things like jam or even spread them with chocolate and add mini marshmallows for like a smore! I hope you like my recipe for cinnamon crescent rolls and let me know if you give it a try.

Have a good weekend and I’ll be back next Friday for another story!
