Church Organ Dedication Concert
Today is Spiritual Sunday and I’m excited to share photos of our church organ dedication concert. This beautiful organ was designed for Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church and made with love in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Jennifer Pascual performed the concert at our church last Sunday evening and she was amazing. She was appointed Director of Music at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City in 2003 and is the first woman to hold this position, one of the most prestigious sacred music appointments in the United States. https://saintpatrickscathedral.org/people/dr-jennifer-pascual

The organ has four keyboards and it has sounds for every instrument in an orchestra! So many buttons and petals and such a beautiful sound.

The concert lasted over an hour and she played a variety of songs to show the different sounds from both the keys and and pedals.
This is Sonata Celtica, Op.153 – St. Patrick’s Breastplate. It’s amazing to watch Dr. Pascual play not only with her hands, but her feet our going on the pedals too.
I hope you all have a blessed Sunday and a beautiful week ahead.
