Christmas Day 2025

Hi, it’s Lia and I’m back with another Friday Story Time by Lia. I had so much fun the past two weeks but it went by too fast. Christmas Day 2025 I spent at grandma and grandpa’s house with daddy, Ma and some of my cousins. Everyone had such a fun time. My one little cousin just turned 2 years old a few days ago and my other cousin is 6 months old. They both have grown since I moved to Indiana.

This is grandma’s tree and I’m wearing a dress I got for Christmas and one of my gifts from ma was this gingerbread house kit and it’s all pink with shiny sprinkles. Ma helped me pick out gifts for grandma, grandpa and daddy. They were all excited when they opened them.

Daddy and I painted this butterfly for Ma, she was so happy she cried. Last Christmas we painted the Angel and she has both on the shelf in the living room and tells everyone daddy drew them and we both painted them. I picked out the colors of the background for the butterfly and painted that.

The day after Christmas grandma, daddy and I made and decorated cookies! I love baking and decorating especially adding sprinkle to my cookies.

A few days before Christmas we went to visit ma’s friends from church, they call her mom. They both like football so I made them a Christmas card. Ma helped me find the Lion for Marcia’s team, the Detroit Lions and a Green Bay Packers helmet for Dan. They both loved their card.

Last Friday Ma surprised me and four of my cousins and we went to Big Air. It’s an indoor trampoline park with all kinds of pits to jump in and even has a zip line to hold on the bar and drop on a trampoline. It is so much fun and I was happy to see my cousins again. After that we all went to Chick-Fil-a and played on the indoor playground while waiting for our meals. We all had a fun day and want to go back next time I come visit.

The next day was Saturday, time for daddy and ma to drive to Knoxville Tenn. to meet mommy. Ma surprised me and brought Snowball to ride along with daddy, ma and me! I love him so much and will miss him. I had so much fun the two weeks I spent my Christmas in South Carolina.
