Chocolate Pancakes
I’m making you breakfast for my Friday Story Time by Lia! Are you ready to try my chocolate pancakes? Mommy saw this double chocolate pancake kit at the store and since I received a super cute little pancake maker for Christmas this was perfect to try them both! Now here’s the good part, Ma says you can eat a few little ones because they don’t have any calories. She’s so funny because I think she was just saying that because they look so good and yes they have carbs. But we all have to have something good every now and then!
Making the batter was very easy, I just added the dry mix with a little water, mixed them together and got ready to spoon on my little pancake maker. But I have to warn you, this get’s very hot on the black part so I have to be super careful and not touch anything except the lift part on the green top.
After I added to batter to my pancake maker it grew! I waited patiently about a minute the carefully slid my spatula under the pancake and flipped it over to cook the other side.
My chocolate pancakes are ready! Again, very carefully I slid my spatula under the pancake making sure I didn’t touch the hot pancake maker. I got it! Now to stack my pancakes on my plate and wait until you see what’s next!
The package comes with chocolate fudge syrup and candy sprinkles but I opted to save those for maybe an afternoon snack instead of breakfast. But I did add whipped cream and topped with my fancy sugar sprinkles!
It’s time for the tasting test. Oh my, these chocolate pancakes are delicious and they can be a great snack too! What did you have for breakfast, would you want to try chocolate pancakes with me?
But look what else I also received, a mini waffle maker in the shape of a heart so I can see chocolate waffles coming up for Valentine’s Day! Then I will try some mini bundt cakes soon since I got one of those for Christmas too. I will have so much fun baking with my new mini baking makers!
I hope you enjoyed my Friday Story Time by Lia this week. I’ll be back next Friday, hope you all enjoy your weekend!
That’s some serious chocolate, LIa! Hope you enjoyed it.
