Celebrate the Divine Mercy on Spiritual Sunday

Today in our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic church we celebrate the Divine Mercy on Spiritual Sunday. This Catholic special feast day is to be celebrated on the Sunday after Easter. God’s greatest desire is to forgive us so that we may be healed.

Prayer of Divine Mercy

O Blood and Water that redeems and saves, have mercy on us.

O Blog and Water that heals and restores, have mercy on us.

O Blood and Water that strengthens and renews, have mercy on us.

Amen

As I reflect on Spiritual Sunday, I’m also praying for the soul of Pope Francis who was laid to rest yesterday, Saturday May 26th at the Basilica of St. Mary Major in Rome. He passed away on April 21st at 88 years old.

May you all have a blessed Sunday and a wonderful week.
