Cave Tools Salad Spinner
Cave Tools Salad Spinner
Salad is something I prepare every night for my family and I love how the Cave Tools salad spinner saves me time. The salad spinner consists of a large three quart serving bowl, a spinner and a vented lid for both draining and spinning.
There is a lever on the lid that I just push to lock or unlock from the bowl. After I break up the lettuce, I rinse it then put in the bowl and spin, then I pour the water out through the strainer slots on the vented lid. After the water is removed, I spin the lettuce dry once again to remove any excess water and that goes down to the bowl. Before I pour the lettuce in the serving bowl, I dump out any water. This is such a time saver for draining plus I don’t have to worry about trying to dry the lettuce with a paper towel before adding the dressing.
I like how the bottom of the bowl has a non skid base so I don’t have to worry about it scurrying across the counter. Just because this is a “salad spinner”, it can be used for many other purposes such as fruits, vegetable sticks and even pasta. Cave Tools have excellent products and like all their other ones I have used, the salad spinner is great. It’s easy to wash by hand or in the dishwasher and the bowl can even be used for chips or popcorn.
