When it comes to making delicious chicken, the Cave Tools Barbecue Rack and Drip Pan is the way to go. This sides of the sturdy stainless steel rack lock into place and won’t collapse or tip over when full.  The drip pan has easy to grip handles and collects the drippings from the chicken that can be used for delicious sauces, gravies or even soup.

I used the drip pan for potatoes.  I put a light layer of oil in the pan, added cut up pieces of potatoes and when the chicken cooked, the juices dripped over the potatoes and gave them a delicious flavor. I cooked my chicken and potatoes in the oven but the rack is also great for the grill or smoker.

It’s quick and easy to prepare a delicious chicken dinner with the Cave Tools Barbecue Rack and Drip Pan.  If you are using the drip pan for potatoes or vegetables, cut them up and layer in the pan.  The rack holds up to 12 legs or wings and with the construction of the rack it’s easy to just slide the leg into each holder. It’s ready for the oven or grill and the skin browns perfectly while it bakes. It took about an 1 1/2 hours for this delicious dinner to cook and the chicken was so tasty, not greasy and not dried out either.

The pan and rack are easy to clean, it’s dishwasher safe but I just put it in hot soapy water and it cleaned up perfectly. It even folds up compactly for storage, just squeeze the edges of the legs to release the lock and the legs fold up and the rack sets in the drip pan.

If you love to cook or grill chicken, you will want to add this rack to you kitchen. It would also be a great gift for you chicken lover friends or family.

I have many Cave Tool products and as with all of them I am very satisfied with the quality and durability of the Cave Tools Barbecue Rack and Drip Pan.  I was given a great opportunity to test a complementary sample of this product for my own use and this is my own unbiased opinion of this product. It’s easy to use, easy to clean and easy to store for the next time.

I was amazed at how quick and easy it is to prepare the meal and the juice drips on the potatoes for a delicious taste! Thanks for stopping by Carol.

Now that is interesting. Good for keeping the fats and meat separately. Though I’d not be able to resist putting potatoes underneath to catch the yummyness.

I rarely cook drumsticks or wings though. Could it possibly hold thighs or breasts?

It can hold thighs also Nona. I like breasts better than legs but haven’t tried using in on them. I’ll work it out though! Hubby loves drumsticks and when I cooked these, I actually decided I like them also. The potatoes were delicious with the drippings!
