Tucked away in the the Great Smoky National Park is Cades Cove where it takes you back in time.   Travel the 11 mile loop to view the historic buildings, the beautiful scenery and even see some wildlife. The views are awesome!

    So beautiful! I’d love to go there to paint! Those old buildings are amazing. They bring history to life.

      There are so many open fields between each building and people are their having picnics, reading and even painting Alice! You’d be in heaven there! I love going back in time to see how our fore fathers lived. Thanks for strolling through!

    Beautiful! My husband and I drove through this area a couple of years ago, but we never found this gem of an area. Will have to seek it out next time around. I just love your photos!!

      We happened to “stumble” upon the road to get here Cindy. It’s just before Gatlinburg coming from Cherokee and the 20 mile road to get there is full of twists and turns and that too is such a wonderful scenic drive. I must see for anyone traveling in the area. Thanks for stopping by.
