Brother and Sister Love
Brother and Sister Love
What an exciting weekend we had! My hubby and I left South Carolina and drove 14 hours to Indiana for our 17 year old grandson’s high school graduation. As we were heading north, our 20 year old granddaughter started her 6 hour drive heading west from Ohio to meet in Indiana also. Zachary and Alexandra haven’t seen each other in over a year and they took off with their silly, loving ways as soon as they got together. They truly have brother and sister love.
As soon as Zachary ran out of the house, the photos began. They were both so excited to see each other and since they are so photogenic no matter what they are doing, I just had to snap these silly photos.
Zachary is about 5′ 8″ plus with his super fashion statement hair style, that adds about 4″, making him 6′ tall! He won “Best Hair” for his High School Yearbook! Alexandra is maybe 5′ tall if we stretch her so Zac is known has the “big” little brother to Alex.
The hour arrived to leave for Zac’s high school graduation and from Alexandra’s look on her face, I’m wondering what she’s thinking, I also wonder what Zachary is thinking. I know what I’m thinking, I’m super proud of Zachary and Alexandra!
After graduation, the four of us went to Olive Garden for graduation dinner along with a graduation party, and then we had a sleepover at the hotel, what fun we had!
Hubby and I are always telling Alexandra she needs to eat more so when we went down to the hotel breakfast, we loaded up with waffles and danish to bring up to our room. Alex loves danish and she even made a sandwich from two of them! I had a huge waffle, loaded with butter and syrup. Zac had a muffin and hubby had a cup of coffee. So you can figure out who ate all the food!
After breakfast is was time to pack up and for everyone to say our goodbyes. We loaded the vehicles and got ready to go when Zachary swept Alexandra off her feet and gave her the biggest hugs that have to last until they see each other again. Some brothers and sisters don’t get along but these two are like two peas in a pod. I’m so glad they have each other to laugh, cry and hold each other together.
This was taken in the hotel parking lot as Alex was getting ready to head back to Ohio and we were taking Zachary back to his home and head down the mountain back home. It was a short visit but filled with so much fun and love. So many wonderful memories with two of our grandchildren.
Oh it looks everyone had a great time. I am glad.
We all the the best of time Sandy! Such a great time with the grands before, during and after Zac’s HS graduation. Thanks for stopping by!!

Seeing a bother and sister love each other so much is just
awesome. As for a Waffle sandwich I could see my husband
making one as well.
Alexandra and Zac were so excited to be with each other, even if only for a few days. Hubby and I are so proud of both of them! Thanks for stopping by Glenda!
