Bright Days Ahead

I like to dabble in poetry and I’ve always wanted to put the ones I write in a book with a few that my mom wrote many, many years ago.   Many of my short poems are actually written for people I know and what they are going through.

This is a poem I wrote when you think things are at there worse.  Seems like everything happens all at once, we get overwelmed and feel like things can’t get better.  But things will change and bright days will be ahead.

BRIGHT  DAYS AHEAD

Sometimes we wonder why things happen as they do.

We sink to our low and then get lower too.

It’s easy to say things happen for a reason,

But why do they have to be so unpleasing?

It can’t get much worse or so it seems,

But then we wonder what that means.

We have to be strong through all our lows.

Good days are ahead as we all know.

There is always someone there for you.

They will help you get through what ever you do.

So look for a bright side and things will be clear.

The people that love you will always be near.
