For Day 26 of the Ultimate Blag Challenge the suggested topic is to head over to YouTube and find a video that our readers might like. When I clicked on YouTube, the first video I saw was one on How to Make BLT Deviled Eggs. I thought this would be perfect for my blog because I just made these last week and are they delicious!
My BLT Deviled Eggs with chunks of tomatoes from jar of sauce. Since one person in the family doesn’t like deviled eggs, I left some plain (and boring).
These are made with real tomatoes! A great side to go with dinner.
The first time I made them, I didn’t have a tomato so I improvised which I often do when cooking. I took a jar of chunky spaghetti sauce and scooped out some of the large tomato chunks and use them! It was like a real tomato but it work! The next time I made them I had a delicious fresh tomato from the farmers market so I had the right ingredients. My oh my, these BLT Deviled Eggs are DELICIOUS! I don’t think I will ever make a “regular” deviled eggs anymore after making these. Let me know what you think of these from The Stay At Home Chef’s YouTube video! There is a recipe link for these BLT Deviled Eggs under the video.

Wow! We have tomatoes and basil in our garden. We have Trader Joe’s bacon jam in the frig, although I think we would use regular bacon. This sounds amazing. I’ve pinned the recipe from the site.
A few simple ingredients makes a world of taste difference Alana! I have used the candied bacon but since I’ve cut out most extra sugars, I use regular bacon also. Even just add the tomatoes would be great! Let me know if you make them!
Paul, I am going to have to post my blogs at a different time. You’re always ready them late at night, probably because I post so late. LOL I’ll put a warning on them when it involves food!! But they are delicious even for a midnight snack! Thanks for stopping by.
When I’m in a hurry, I just cut in half and eat, but I love deviled eggs and it really doesn’t take that long to mix up a few extra ingredients with the egg yolk. Thanks for stopping by.

Great… now I am hungry and I should be getting ready for bed! These look so good!
Thanks, Martha!

I’ll stick with hard-boiled eggs. Not only because i don’t eat bacon, but because it’s a breeze to make that way.
