Blog Post Roundup
We are on Day 30 of the Cornerstone Content Blog Challenge, ONE MORE DAY TO GO! Since today’s topic is a blog post roundup, I’m going to introduce you to some awesome blog posts I’ve read over the past month from the participants in this challenge. Since I love all these blogs, I can’t mark them as which is the best so I’m going alphabetical order.
ANGELA is a new member to the CCBC and I’m so glad she joined in with her heart healthy way of life with Angela Cooks! Since I’m also on a healthy eating plan I was excited to read her blog posts to learn more on her healthy eating take. One of her blogs was especially helpful as she discussed how all sweeteners are not the same in her blog 16 Sweeteners You Should Know About. Even if you aren’t on a diet this post is very helpful to know the difference in them. Thank you Angela for this helpful information!
ANGIE is another great blogger in the group with a variety from book reviews, home school resources, and yes recipes! Since Lia and I love to bake we are always looking for healthy options for sweets. Angie’s Best Zucchini Bread Ever is one of those recipes! It’s sugar free and no vegetable oil either! Be sure to check out Muses of a Mom for more delicious blogs.
BRENDA and I have been blogger friends for many years and I love her poetry among other blogs she writes. She has published a beautiful book of poems and her grandfather is her Guardian Angel, guiding her from up above. One poem Brenda wrote, Earth Angel is dedicated to my Great Granddaughter, Lia who Brenda calls her little sunshine. Be sure to visit this beautiful poem and her other blogs.
JEANINE welcomes you to her Gingerbread Cottage with blogs about how to create a Hygge lifestyle, the cozy corner and her tea room. Jeanine loves tea and shares information on tea meditation and tea rituals for self care. She even has a Tea Quiz blog to help you find out what kind of tea drinker you are. I’m a “B” which means I like teas that meet my health concerns, how appropriate!
VIDYA is another wonderful blogger friend I have known for many years. She shares so many book reviews for adults and children of all ages. Her latest review was The Slumbering Pearl with a contest to win a copy of this book. Was I surprised when she notified me that I won the book for Lia! I can’t wait to read her the story of Pearl.
I hope you enjoyed reading my blog post roundup and have checked out these blogs. It’s always fun to find new blogs and blog topics and also make new blogger friends along the way. If you are looking for lots of smiles, laughs and posts to make your day, be sure to check out Lia’s Likings the Baby Blogger. She loves sharing lots of her baking and cooking projects, plus crafts and paintings, everyday happenings and just happy thoughts and smiles to share with everyone.
Great shares. I agree with most of your choices!
Thanks Roy, you know you are tops on the list from UBC!
What a beautiful post, Martha!! You made me want to read every post you mentioned, including my own, LOL. Thanks for including me. And thanks for the affection you offer to all of your fellow bloggers.
We have a great little blogging family Jeanine. I love how even when a challenge isn’t going on, everyone still keeps watch on the others. I so glad to have met so many wonderful bloggers that have become great friends. Now I have to go have my evening tea!
Awesome post. I love reading your posts and seeing Lia grow.
Thanks Amanda, Lia is such a joy to all.
Martha, you are always on the top of my list!! And I was so so glad that Lia won the book; the book should already be on its way to you and I hope Lia loves it.
you made it to the end of another challenge and you amaze me with your energy as always.. I hope that for the next round of CCBC, I will stand strong and prepared 🙂
Awww, thanks Vidya! I can’t wait to read the book to Lia! Just think the UBC is just a month away!
What a wonderful post Martha. Thank-you so much for including Earth Angel. I agree with all of your choice as I read them myself.
I love Earth Angel poem Brenda. I got the mug from Zapple and have it on our windowsill for Lia to see.
I love that poem! So sweet! You have to be busy with 7 grands and 7 great-grands! You are multiply blessed. Thanks for the mention here too. It’s time to make that zucchini bread again!
I’ve enjoyed your blogs Angie and Brenda’s poems are awesome! Lia and I will be making bread soon too!
