Blog Challenges

Do you enjoy blog challenges? How often do you join them? I love a challenge of any kind but blog challenges are so exciting to me for many reasons.

Reasons to participate in blog challenges

1 – I get to meet new bloggers and also reconnect with past challenge bloggers. 2 – Writing blogs in a challenge can increase your stats also with the number of views, comments, likes, and shares from readers and other bloggers. 3 – I learn about new topics from other bloggers. 4 – Bloggers share advice and that is very helpful when looking for an answer to a problem. 5 – A challenge keeps my mind in shape and since I’ll be 72 years old in a few days I need that!

Today I’m sharing a few blogs that I enjoy reading and learning from. They aren’t in any particular order because all could be number one!

Muses of a Mom is blog in some ways are similar to my blog. Angie’s blog is a lifestyle blog where she shares healthy living, recipes plus book and product reviews. I enjoy her tips on healthy living and saving money to name a few. She also shares her experience on home schooling her two sons, this is an excellent topic since so many families are home schooling their children now. This is a blog you won’t want to miss reading.

The Gingerbread Cottage is where you will find your happy place! Jeanine has excellent advice on hygge lifestyle by creating a cozy home, create self care rituals, live in harmony with who you are and create hygge moments throughout the day so everyday will be as happy as it can be. With all the stress in today’s world, you definitely need to read this blog!

Writing Through the Soul is how Brenda writes! Whether she writes her beautiful poems, short stories or articles, she definitely has a passion for writing. Brenda follows her heart and writes what comes to her mind. Brenda loved her grandfather like Lia loves her Pop. Her grandfather is her guardian angel and she has dedicated her blog to him. I’m sure he is watching over her always. One of Brenda’s poems in her Writing Through the Soul poetry book reminds me so much of Lia. After I purchased this book I wrote a review on it and if you read the poem Earth Angel on page 7, it describes Lia exactly. http://themarthareview.com/writing-through-the-soul-book-review/

These are just a few of the many wonderful bloggers that I follow, learn from and share advice with. Because of blog challenges I met or reconnected with many of them. As many bloggers say, BLOG ON!!

I started my blog on Christmas Day 2014 mainly to review products I received. Since then it has evolved into many other categories of lifestyles, family, money saving ideas, low cost, delicious and healthy meals plus other surprise posts. My granddaughter has her own category, Alex's Articles and the latest addition to my blog is my great granddaughter now has her category, Lia's Likings The Baby Blogger! Lia started blogger at 8 months old and she now has a Friday Story Time blog you won't want to miss! I welcome you to join the conversation, ask a question, give a suggestion or leave a comment on any blog post. I hope you enjoy Lia's Likings, she has some great posts that will make you smile!
