Black and White Blog Photo Challenge Day 1

BLACK AND WHITE BLOG PHOTO CHALLENGE

DAY 1

I’m sure those on Facebook have seen the black and white photo challenge going around and I had a great time participating in that.  But then I read about the black and white blog photo challenge when I visited Kyla’s blog.  Participants in the seven-day challenge nominate someone each day to join in on the fun.  Kyla was also open to volunteers so of course I jumped on that since I love taking photographs and lately I have played around with black and white photos.  I don’t have a fancy camera, just my Google Pixel XL phone but it takes some awesome photos.  Be sure to visit Kyla’s blog, https://24carrotdiet.wordpress.com/ to see her challenge photos plus some of her delicious recipes also!  So here it is, my Black and White Blog Photo Challenge Day 1 being unveiled!

This is a simple and fun way to get other bloggers involved and it will be great to see all the fantastic photos they share.

This is how the Black & White Blog Photo Challenge works:

This is what I gathered from Kyla’s post, the rules for this Black & White Photo Challenge are as follows:

  1. Share black and white photos daily for 7 days;

  2. There must be no animals or people in the photos;

  3. No captions, explanations, or other words to accompany the images;

  4. Nominate one person to participate each day of the challenge.

I hope those I nominate will enjoy a week of sharing photos and possibly even meet new bloggers plus have your blog shared many times.  But if for some reason you can’t take part, just let me know.  You can also be like me and jump on the opportunity and volunteer to join this awesome black and white blog photo challenge, just let me know in the comments below.

Photos & Nomination for Day One

Drum roll please… the first person I nominate for the Black and White Blog Photo Challenge Day 1 is Alice.  You will enjoy seeing the photos that Alice shares of her adventures on her blog https://alicesgrandadventures.blogspot.com/ Besides Alice’s photos, she shares exciting blogs of her walks and adventures.

I started my blog on Christmas Day 2014 mainly to review products I received. Since then it has evolved into many other categories of lifestyles, family, money saving ideas, low cost, delicious and healthy meals plus other surprise posts. My granddaughter has her own category, Alex's Articles and the latest addition to my blog is my great granddaughter now has her category, Lia's Likings The Baby Blogger! Lia started blogger at 8 months old and she now has a Friday Story Time blog you won't want to miss! I welcome you to join the conversation, ask a question, give a suggestion or leave a comment on any blog post. I hope you enjoy Lia's Likings, she has some great posts that will make you smile!

    I love black and white photos. This is a great challenge. But, I hope no one nominates me because I still don’t have my photos in my new computer yet.

      I too love black and white photos Brenda! Glad you got your new computer up and running. The challenge is 7 days, that will give you time to get your photos organized! LOL Actually, I sometimes just take mine off my phone! Thanks for stopping by!

  3. LadyInRead says:

    love this photo and yes, would definitely try to see if i can take part in this:)

  4. I remember when the only thing i could take (and develop on my own) were black and white photos. Now, I would have to strip all the glorious colors out of my snaps. Moreover, I don’t snap a photo every day. As such, I’ll enjoy your adventure(s).

      I too remember the old Brownie camera my mom had, I still have many of the old photos that were in little yellow booklets. Ah, the good old days! I am constantly snapping, I may become a photographer when I grow up! LOL Thanks for visiting Roy.
