Beauty in a Rose

Today is Wordless Wednesday and usually it’s hard for me to post photos without adding words. (I like to talk so that’s probably why. LOL) The weather is starting to get cold in many areas and slowly the flowers are leaving for the winter. But today I’m sharing the beauty in a rose from some pictures I snapped yesterday. Hope you enjoy!

Sending happy thoughts to all my readers, have a wonderful day and don’t forget to stop and smell the beauty in a rose.

  1. Lovely photos, Martha! I always love seeing bees get their fill, also. Ahhh, I can almost smell them!

Such beautiful roses! I have a rose garden that brings me year-round joy. (We live in Central Florida). Taking time to enjoy them up close always refreshes my soul.
    Happy WW!

Gorgeous Martha. Did you take these with a micro mode? Just curious. Either way, they are wonderful. I love fall but it is sad when the flowers start dying. We were just at a botanical garden and most of them had died. It was pretty sad, but I know they will be back, lol. Thanks for sharing. Nice to see you during the UBC. 🙂

Thanks Samantha! I love photographing our flowers, I only use my Google Pixel phone and my closeup are on protrait mode. I like how that blurs the background and makes the rose stand out even more!

  4. I’m amazed these were flourishing in November.

  13. Hello Martha, gorgeous garden! Roses are so beautiful, I am happy they are still alive and vibrant in your home state. We have a couple International Rose Test Gardens here in the Pacific Northwest. They are barely holding on to their petals this time of year. Thank you for sharing your beautiful flowers! Sending hugs, Jaime

I love seeing our roses Jaime! Rich talks to them and we usually have blooms until January! I know my mom is looking down from above and loving the flowers.
