Battery Operated Pencil Sharpener

Some times finding an electric outlet where it’s needed isn’t so easy.  That’s why I love this battery operated pencil sharpener, no outlet is needed.

It’s easy to install the 4 – AA batteries (not included) by pushing the tab on the bottom of the sharpener. It’s marked on the battery cover which way to insert the batteries, so there is no guessing. Once I put the batteries in, I clicked the door back in place.

With the four rubber feet, it sits firmly on my desk and stays in place while I sharpen my pencils.

When I have it sitting on my desk, I insert my pencil in the top, push it down and it easily sharpens without “walking” around my desk. The high quality blade sharpens quickly and puts a good point on my pencils which I need for when doing by sketching.

There is a clear plastic cover on the front to catch the shavings and that too is easy to open and empty. I hold on the the top and bottom of the cover, gently squeeze and it pops right off.  I like the safety feature of the pencil sharpener not being able to work with the cover off.

The Art-n-Fly pencil sharpener is only 4″ long and 2″ wide at the base and 1 1/2″ at the top, making it very stable when in use with the wider bottom.  This is a great size to carry in my bag for when I’m on the go and no worry about needing to find an outlet to plug it in.  Whether you are needing a pencil sharpener in one place or if you are like me and need one with me where ever I go, I would recommend this Art-n-Fly Pencil Sharpener which I received in exchange for my honest review. This is not only great for an office, but it’s perfect for students and teachers in the classroom.  I am pleased with the quality, the construction, the size and the portability of this battery operated pencil sharpener.

I like old fashion lead pencils and it’s great to have at my “couch office”, don’t have to worry about plugging it in. Thanks for stopping by!
