Bacon and Cheese Dip
Lia loves baking and the other day she helped me make the most delicious bacon and cheese dip from GOURMET DU VILLAGE and served on Milton’s Craft Bakers delicious crackers. I was lucky enough to win both the dip and crackers from give-away contests on Facebook and Instagram. Lia is wearing her sweet apron and chef hat compliments of Dapper & Doll. I hope you enjoy Friday Story Time by Lia where she shows you more about making this mouth-watering dip.
Hi friends, I’m going to show you how I made this amazing baked cheese dip with my GGmama. The first thing I always do when baking is check the recipe and get all the ingredients ready. This dip recipe only has a few ingredients…. the pouch of Gourmet du Village Cheddar & Bacon dip mix, 1 cup mayonnaise, 1 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup cream cheese and 3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese. How much easier can this be?
Mix the mayo, sour cream and cream cheese together in a heat proof baking dish. Add the package of dip mix and stir it in good.
Next I added the cheddar cheese but I kept about 2 tablespoons for later. I love cheese and this dip was looking real good!
Okay, let me check to make sure I’ve added everything to my baking dish. Yup, I got everything, it’s ready to go in the oven!
GGmama put the dish in the oven at 350 degrees and I watched it bake for about 15 minutes. Next mama sprinkled the left over cheese over the top and broiled it for about a minute until the top became golden. Doesn’t this look so good?
Mama dipped her Milton’s Craft Bakers cracker in the hot from the oven dip and she said it was the best dip ever.
If you want to try this dip mix or see the other flavors, be sure to check out GOURMET DU VILLAGE and also look at the variety of tasty crackers at Milton’s Craft Bakers.
I hope you enjoyed my Bacon and Cheese Dip story, now I’m off to see what else I can bake for my next Friday Story Time by Lia!
Ms. Lia – that dip looks amazing! I am going to have to try it out. We love having chip/dips and other munchie stuff when our family gets together.
Thanks for sharing the recipe with us!
Nancy, I’m sure you will love this dip, it’s not only delicious but fun to make! Thanks for stopping by!
Lia, that looks so good.
This is SO good Brenda and it was fun to make with my GGmama!
Not for me- but at least your worst (i.e., bacon) came from a mix- so it’s easy to switch to something more acceptable.
You could actually start with the main ingredients and add any type of dried soup mix! Let me know if you try something Roy!
Lia, I must make this for my grandpa. He loves bacon.
Lia says she hopes your grandpa loves it like she does Amanda!
