Awesome Butane Kitchen Torch

Watch out kitchen, I’m going to be having fun baking unique food items with my new awesome Butane Kitchen Torch.  I have seen them on TV cooking shows but have never used one until I purchased the Bellemain torch and I love it!

Since I have never had a Butane Kitchen Torch, I wasn’t even sure how involved it was to use but I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to set up and start torching.   It comes with very detailed instructions and the first thing I did was purchase a can of butane fuel.

There are only three controls, the button on the side is the on and off button and must be off when filling or not using the torch, and the knob on the back is to turn the gas on and off.

When filling the torch, make sure the slide button is off and the knob also has to be in the off position, it shows which way to turn it on the knob. The unit has to be upside down and not on an angle when filling it.  With the small hole on the bottom of the cylinder, you put the nozzle of the butane in that and pushed down while counting to ten.  It’s that simple to fill with the butane fuel. The other control is the ignition trigger on the front right under the nozzle.

After I prepared what was going to be torched, I slid the side button to the on position, I turned the gas on with the knob on the back of the nozzle and I pushed the trigger to brown my meringue. The flame can be adjusted by the knob and with the extended nozzle, the flames keep away from your hands.  The Bellemain Kitchen Torch has a nice stainless finish with black on the back of the nozzle with red controls.  It also has a sturdy black base to set the torch on when not in use. Whether you want to sear meats or make creme brulee, this butane kitchen torch will be perfect. I am very pleased with the quality of this awesome butane kitchen torch, the ease of use and the overall look of this product which I purchased at a reduced price for my honest review and all opinions are my own.
