August 2021 Ultimate Blog Challenge
The August 2021 Ultimate Blog Challenge has come to an end and for some reason this as been the longest challenge for me! I live for a challenge, have participated and completed every UBC since January 2016. This is my 28th completed UBC! My feature image is the UBC logo from when I started this challenge. I use Paul’s new banner in my blogs but I love the original one!
Once I start a challenge I HAVE to complete it! But I must say this month has been very challenging from the beginning! Maybe because July was super busy and I didn’t realize that August snuck up on me. Or maybe because I knew August would be an exciting month with Lia’s big announcement about her new blog category or planning her exciting 3rd birthday week. But either way when I signed up to participated I know I had to complete the challenge. AND I DID IT, I COMPLETED MY 28th UBC CHALLENGE IN A ROW!!
I wrote a poem a few years ago and like to share it after the challenge is over, I enjoy reconnecting with my “old” blogger friends and excited when I meet new challenge bloggers.
Although the August Ultimate Blog Challenge is over, that doesn’t mean blogging will stop! Lia will still be sharing her Friday Story Time by Lia and my goal is to write at least a few blogs each week. But the biggest challenge Lia and I have for the next few weeks is to catch up on replying to all the comments we’ve received from our readers. I usually read and comment within a day but the comments keep coming in and I got WAY BEHIND!! But we will reply to each and everyone of the almost 200 comments that still need attention. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR THE COMMENTS, SHARES, LIKES, and LOVE you have left on Lia’s and my blogs! A BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE BLOGGER WHO JOINED IN THIS CHALLENGE. You are all winners whether you completed all 31 or give it your all to try!!
Now for the fun part, in NOVEMBER we get to to the UBC again!! Will you be ready, will I be ready? If we plan now, I think we can do it! No, I KNOW WE CAN DO IT!
Thank you Paul for hosting this awesome challenge and I’ll be posting between now and then so I’ll be ready for the November challenge!
Happy to see you have finished another challenge Martha.
Thanks Brenda, this was a long month!
Congrats on finishing the challenge!
Thanks Roy! Catch you in the November challenge!
Hi Martha. It’s very nice to exchange blog thoughts and comments with you at this month’s UBC. Til next time. You guys take care!
Thanks Jojo, I enjoyed reading your blogs also. Until next challenge, blog on!
Congratulations on completing yet another Challenge. I was not a full-time participant but I still enjoy doing these!
Even if bloggers participate it’s fun and a great experience to interact with the other bloggers. Hope to see you back in the November challenge Dominique!
Good job on completing this task.
Thanks Amanda, I love a challenge.
Awesome poem, Martha! You and Lia did fabulous. I managed half time but I am happy I showed up to close out the challenge.
Thanks Lily, I enjoy your blogs and you did great throughout the challenge! Hope to see you in the next one!
Martha, I am so proud of you, completing 28 UBCs!!! You are a joy, and Lia is a joy! My kitchen rooster, “Sunshine”, is a joy. There has been so much friendship and joy and so much to think about (i.e., Roy’s and Paul’s posts) in this month’s challenge. It was great sharing it with you. And thanks for the cool poem! As Life looks now, I’m planning to be in the November UBC also.
Kebba, I’m so happy I “met” you and I not only enjoy your blogs, but your kindness and friendship you share with everyone. I enjoy the UBC so much and while August was a touch and go as to whether I could complete it, I did it with Lia’s help! We’ll see you back in November!! Hugs and love to you.
I enjoy your posts, Martha!!!! It’s also nice to see Lia’s stories and her bright, shiny, happy face in her pictures. She is pure delight! She did amazing things as a two year old. Now that she is three, the sky is the limit.
Thanks Alice! Lia amazes us at times and is always ready to learn new things. Can’t wait to see what her 3rd year brings!
