Art In The Streets Photography Challenge – Week 6

Art In The Streets Photography Challenge – Week 6

February 17 – 23

It’s Wednesday and that means it’s time for the Art In The Streets Photography Challenge. This is my 6th week I’ve been sharing interesting places and I not only enjoy posting my photos but also seeing the many wonderful photos from other bloggers.

While traveling, I like to take interesting photos, not only buildings. Last week I shared our trip to Cherokee, here’s the link if you missed it:  http://themarthareview.com/art-in-the-streets-challenge-week-5/

I love photographing trees, not just normal trees but interesting and unique trees.  I hope you enjoy the tour through North Carolina and Indiana where I took these shots.

These photos were taken in the Great Smokey National Forest in North Carolina.  Nothing special, I just like the groups of each photograph.

treeknot

I thought this knot hole was quite interesting.  It’s not just a knot!

I like this big old tree trunk, it reminds me of the opening of a cave, probably for a little critter to hide it.

This is one of my favorite flip flop photographs!   The top photo is how I captured it looking at the reflection, it can almost be turned upside down and still be a beautiful scene!

This is another photo that I flipped over, it’s hard to tell which is the actual shot!  Both of these shots were taken in a small country town in Indiana.   So my Art in the Streets this week isn’t exactly in the streets, but I hope you enjoyed my collection.

Stop by http://www.justmeplease.com/ to see some really super breathtaking Art in the Streets photography by Lee-Anne.

Hi Martha, Thanks for being such a loyal contributor to Art in the Streets. Nature often produces the most beautiful textures in the bark of the trees and smoothness of the waterways. I enjoyed seeing the way that you have captured the trees reflected in the mirror of the lake.
