Another Delicious Green Bean Recipe

A few weeks ago I shared some recipes for green beans with slivered almonds. I love that combination plus it’s healthy! Yesterday I came up with another delicious green bean recipe that was so different I just had to share with those who love green beans and almonds.

I got a great deal on NY boneless strip steak for $7.99 a pound at Food Lion the other day and that’s how my idea came up. I added a small amount of avocado oil to a frying pan, browned the seasoned steak on both sides and let it cook until done.

As I removed the steaks I noticed how the combination of the seasonings and worchester sauce smelled so good. Then I got the idea to toss the fresh/frozen green beans in the same pan I used to cook the steak! I sauteed them a few minutes and when they were just about ready, I added a handful of the slivered almonds.

The steak seasoning cooked through the beans and they were so delicious. So here’s another delicious green bean recipe to go with the steak and homemade macaroni salad. They entire meal cost less than $10.00 for the two dinners. I’ll be sharing more quick and easy ideas as I think of them!

    That looks so yummy. 🙂

  2. Green beans and almonds sounds great. And, if I were having steak, I might try this combo, too.

Something about the juices from the meat seasonings really topped this recipe off Roy! I hope you give it a try, let me know if you do!
