Another Day, Another Blog

Today is day two of the July Ultimate Blog Challenge, another day, another blog. Lia and her mom moved to Indiana in March and she finished 1st grade up there with flying colors. Mommy works at Panera and Lia loves working with Uncle Zac in his auto detailing shop. She will be sharing some exciting blogs for her Friday Story Time by Lia about that!

I’m still working on reducing my files on my blog. I get it down to 38% then next time I check it’s over 100%! I’ve been deleting some old or duplicate photos plus resizing them and I also delete my old backup files. Since I’m not the smartest when it comes to this type of files, I’m sorta winging it. LOL So far I haven’t deleted anything I wasn’t supposed to.

My mental health is still up and down, some days I’m fine but others I get lost in thoughts and memories. I miss Rich so much, it’s been 16 months since he passed away on Easter morning 2024. July is a hard month, the 29th would have been our 58th wedding anniversary and the 31st would be his 79th birthday. So many memories that I’m holding in my heart to keep me going.

But there are also many signs I see that I know my dear husband is still watching over his loved ones. The latest was when I went up to Indiana to visit Alexandra, Lia and Zac. I stopped at Cherokee to drop some roses in the river for Rich and I was once again greeted by a blue butterfly that landed on my hand.

I’m looking forward to tomorrow when I will be visiting my daughter and son-in-law in Virginia for a few days. We have nothing planned, just be together and relax.
