A to Z Water
Today is Friday Story Time by Lia and we are also on the letter “W” in the A to Z challenge. So I’m sharing my Friday Story Time AND A to Z Water!
Last week mommy, pop, ma and me went on a hike again to the Intercoastal Waterway at Vereen’s Memorial Gardens. It was fun to watch the waves come to shore and bring sea shells with it. When a boat would go by, the waves got BIGGER!
Mommy had to have a talk with me to let me know the water is dangerous and I couldn’t even put my feet in it because if was very deep. Watching the water was fun but I have to be careful like mommy told me to do.
Our day at Vereen’s Memorial Gardens was so much fun. Pop and I found a cool shaped tree trunk that worked great as a bench to sit and rest a spell while watching the water. Oh and do you see the stick pop’s holding? He found another hiking stick for me! Now I have THREE of them!
So I visited the Intercoastal Waterway last week and a few weeks ago pop, ma and me went to the ocean to see the sunrise. I was able to run into the ocean but made sure to hold pop’s hand and not go too far out. The water was very cold but I had a great time! This is the sunset over the ocean blog ma and I wrote. http://themarthareview.com/a-to-z-ocean/
There is also a pond at the near by park that is loaded with turtles and fish swimming around. Part of the pond has lily pads and you can see birds and frogs sitting on them. Check out the big turtle we saw!
I can’t forget to tell you about all the beautiful waterfalls I’ve seen when going hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains in North Carolina. It was fun hiking up to find each one and exciting to see the water going over the rocks. I hope we can go back soon to see more waterfalls!
These are some of my favorite water spots, the intercoastal waterway, the ocean, a pond and some waterfalls. Do you like to visit places with water? What is you favorite? I hope you enjoyed Friday Story Time by Lia and my A to Z Water for the blog challenge! See you next time!
water is so good for you. I’m drinking some right now.
Water is about the only thing I drink Amanda other than unsweet tea. Never have soda, but add fruit to my water for a hint of flavor at times.
