A to Z Tea Party

Today for the A to Z blog challenge we are up to the letter “T” and Lia would like to invite you to her A to Z Tea Party! Come join her for a spot of tea! There are so many tea flavors but my favor is orange spice or peppermint, I’m not sure what flavor Lia will be serving.

For Lia’s 2nd birthday last August her little friend Carlos gave her an adorable butterfly tea set. It has 4 cups and plates plus a tea pot with sugar and creamer set.

With the butterflies on each piece, Lia is in love with them. It’s a white china set with little pink butterflies and flowers decorating them.

When our friend Judy comes over, I get the tea set out and Lia and Judy have their little tea party. Lia carefully pours the imaginary tea and they both enjoy tea and cookies. With service for 4, it’s also perfect for a party with mommy, Lia, pop and me.

A few weeks ago Lia was so excited when she opened a package. After opening it, she saw her newest tea party set. This one is also a set of four cups and saucers with a teapot.

Of course she had to have a pretend tea party with mommy, pop and me! I love how she gets so excited about everything she opens!

This is one of the items I recieved to give my opinion of the product. It is made of real porcelain with hand painted glaze. The inside of the cups and tea pot are white with the outside pink with little white polka dots trimmed with a delicate gold edging.

It’s like having an English tea party! Since this is for children over 8, we are keeping this boxed up and only bring it out for special tea parties. The cups are the perfect size for having a spot of tea with a side of cookies. Do you want to join Lia for a tea party?

Lia and I hope you enjoyed reading about our A to Z Tea Party! Do you like tea, what is your favorite flavor?

Both tea sets are lovely. I think I like the butterfly best.

  2. So, does Lia consider this high tea or low tea? Or, just fun tea?
