A to Z on Detail

Today is day 4 of Lia’s and my A to Z blog challenge. Today’s topic is a bit different from the others so far. If you remember our blogs will be focused on A to Z #aDayInLiasShoes where the blogs will be about what Lia and I cook, bake, create, or whatever! Today I’m writing about A to Z on Detail and how Lia concentrates and adds so much detail to what ever project she is working on.

According to Merriam Webster dictionary, the definition of DETAIL is extended treatment of or attention to particular items. That’s exactly what Lia does when she’s baking, painting, sewing or even watching her TV shows. She gives everything her full attention and concentrates on every little detail.

Lia started doing product reviews at about six months old and even then she was focused on small parts of the Cabbage Patch doll she received. I remember when I took this video all she did was concentrate on the detail of the doll’s shoes.

Lia loves to decorate plain baskets by weaving ribbon through the holes. I happened to take this video at the perfect time while she was carefully untwisting the ribbon before she threaded it through the next hole. This is a perfect example of paying attention to detail.

Carefully Lia poured the seeds to her Micro-greens in the jar she filled with soil. She concentrated to make sure every little seed was covered with soil so they would grow. After she covered them, she checked in the jar to make sure all were covered, now that’s checking out details.

When measuring ingredients for baking, Lia is the same way. Carefully watching the lines on the cup or when filling the spoon so she doesn’t spill any. When cracking eggs, she drops the egg in a measuring cup then checks to make sure she didn’t drop any shells in the cup. Lia checks details on everything!

Detail is one thing that Lia has always been checking out. From making sure all the pins are in line when getting ready to sew a seam to making sure the picture she is painting is perfect, Lia is one to watch for detail.

I love to watch her eyes to watch how precise and focused Lia is on every detail when she’s working on her projects and wonder if she will always concentrate on detail throughout her life. This was a bit different topic today but hope you enjoyed our A to Z on Detail blog!
