A to Z Jumping

We are up to letter “J” of our A to Z blog challenge. Today I’m sharing A to Z Jumping since Lia loves to jump!

Lia is like a little jumping bean whether on her trampoline or just on the ground. We mark off lines of the patio and she jumps over them then we mark how far and she tries to beat her record. Most of the time she does! Maybe she will be a broad jumper in school.

On Lia’s 1st birthday mommy get her a small indoor trampoline. It has a bar to hold on to but it didn’t take her long to try to jump without holding on. It didn’t take mommy long to tell her to hold on or the trampoline would be off limits.

For Lia’s 2nd Halloween when she was about 14 months old we went to a fall festival where they had lots of large bouncy bounces. She was so tiny and a little unsteady on her feet but she managed to jump and have a great time.

For Christmas 2019 we got her a bounce house for the back yard. So now she can bounce til her heart’s content! The first picture is shortly after Christmas and the first time she was jumping in her bounce house. We set it up for her 2nd birthday last August and Lia, Layla and Carlos had a great time jumping! It sure is a good way to get exercise and have fun at the same time.

When Lia had her 2nd birthday party in Indiana part of her party was at an indoor bouncy bounce. Almost all the floors were bouncing and what a fun time she had jumping around.

How’s this for jumping fun! This is Lia’s aunt when she was about 10 years old jumping over a hedge at her house. I’m sure Lia will be trying this soon once she sees this photo.

Whether Lia is jumping with her friends or her animal friends, she loves it. Jumping is not only fun, it’s great exercise but it also tires little ones out. So if you have a little on that loves jumping, get them a bouncy house but be ready for them to curl up and take a nap after the fun time jumping.

I love to watch Lia jump, she has so much energy and what a great way to release some of it. She’s jumping to Sponge Bob at 18 months old in this video.

After we turned my computer room into the Princess Playroom we moved Lia’s trampoline in the “exercise corner” of her house. It’s the perfect place for Lia and her friends when they visit. So that’s it for A to Z Jumping, do you have energy to jump on a trampoline?
