A to Z Food Challenge – V

What foods can you come up with for the A to Z Food Challenge – V? The first three that come to mind for me are vegetable oil, vinegar, and vanilla.

Do you know what these three “V” foods have in common? Well they aren’t actually food but they are ingredients that will make food! They are all ingredients on my delicious chocolate tea cake! This cake is so simple to make and if you have an egg allergy you don’t have to worry, there aren’t any eggs in the recipe! This is a blog I wrote about Desserts and the Chocolate Tea Cake recipe is half way down. It’s well worth scrolling down to find it! If you make this cake, be sure to have a cold glass of milk ready so you can eat some of this as soon as it cools! http://themarthareview.com/dessert-day/

It’s not just chocolate cake, it has a filling of cream cheese and mini chocolate chips that is dropped into the cake and when it bakes the filling sinks into the cake. YUMMY!!! You can also use mini cupcake pans and drop a small amount of the filling on each cupcake.

Looks like “V” is a sweet day! My hubby doesn’t eat many sweets but he does enjoy Vienna Fingers. Lia loves them too, she opens them up and eats the center!

So A to Z Food Challenge – V is completed. Make sure you check out the recipe for the Chocolate Tea Cakes in the link in my blog.

  1. You did notice that Keebler kept the same packaging but dropped the cookies from 16 to 14.2 ounces, right?
