A to Z Flowers
Lia and I are having fun with the A to Z blog challenge that we came up with. I wanted to do a challenge but I’m not into 30 days of poetry so Lia and I decide to focused on A to Z #aDayInLiasShoes where the blogs will be about what her and I cook, bake, create, or whatever! Since Lia loves gardening, today we are writing about A to Z Flowers for letter “F” blog.
Since we had a long, cold winter our flowers aren’t all in bloom yet. This time last year the azelea bush in my mom’s memory garden was in full bloom. This year the buds are just starting to open! But when it becomes in full bloom the bush will be beautiful! Lia runs out every morning to check and see if the flowers are opening up. YAY, they are finally turning into beautiful full blooms!
We patiently waiting for our azeala bush to look like how it looks in this picture from last year! It won’t be long, the buds are starting to bloom!
Rich’s roses are the same way, they are loaded with buds but we’ve only had one little beautiful rose. On Easter morning Rich had this beauty waiting for Lia and me when we came downstairs.
This is what a few of our rose bushes looked like this time last year! Even our Tiger lily was in full bloom! Lia and I love all the flowers and we’re waiting for her yellow roses to bloom. She has the only yellow rose in our yard!
This was Lia’s yellow rose last year. It’ was a first year bush and had many blooms from early spring to fall. I hope it does the same this year!
These are just a few of our flowers that are blooming now. Both my mom’s memory garden and Lia’s reflection garden will be full of beautiful flowers that will last until fall! I hope you enjoyed our A to Z Flowers blog today!
I love flowers. Your’s are so beautiful. The one thing I love about my new place is there flowers everywhere. I don’t have to do too much. I love roses. In honor of our grandfathers, my husband is getting me a willow tree and a yellow rose bush. I prayer my garden turns out as lovely as yours. I have always loved when you share photos of your beautiful garden.
Oh Brenda, your garden will be beautiful and such a memorial for your grandfathers! I love willow trees and the yellow rose bush will be perfect! I can’t wait to see your work in progress!!
Those flowers looks so pretty.
Thanks Amanda, you should see how the look now!
