Today is April 1st and Lia and I will be doing aa A to Z blog challengle together! I came up with the idea after my Facebook friend gave Lia her own hashtag – #aDayInLiasShoes. So I thought what a fun idea to blog about her day of cooking, baking, sewing, crafts, gardening or whatever we do creative and we’ll try to get through the alphabet! Today the topic will be A to Z Apple.

Lia and I love apples and she especially likes to help me cut an apple with our little slicer and munch on the pieces. Of course I like to dip mine in caramel!

But one of my favorite desserts is apple crisp and Lia was checking out a recipe to make some.

This is a blog we posted awhile ago but it’s so delicious and fun to make and of course it has to be topped with whipping cream for that extra yummy taste! http://themarthareview.com/yummy-apple-crisp/

Lia and I hope you enjoyed A to Z Apple and if you try the recipe, let us know how you liked it!

I started my blog on Christmas Day 2014 mainly to review products I received. Since then it has evolved into many other categories of lifestyles, family, money saving ideas, low cost, delicious and healthy meals plus other surprise posts. My granddaughter has her own category, Alex's Articles and the latest addition to my blog is my great granddaughter now has her category, Lia's Likings The Baby Blogger! Lia started blogger at 8 months old and she now has a Friday Story Time blog you won't want to miss! I welcome you to join the conversation, ask a question, give a suggestion or leave a comment on any blog post. I hope you enjoy Lia's Likings, she has some great posts that will make you smile!

Good morning, I knew Lia couldn’t let a challenge pass her by. I will let Charlie make the Crisp for his grandmother. But he will have to watch or I might eat the Whip Cream.

  3. I love apples myself. I like apple cake. I just made one.

  4. I love my apples plain. Or concocted into an applesauce (which I am going to make today with apples that have been around just a tad too long.)
