A Little About Us
For day two of the July Ultimate Blog Challenge I want to share a little about us. My “old” blogger friends know both me and my great- granddaughter Lia who teamed up with my blog when she was under a year old with her category Lia’s Likings The Baby Blogger. I started The Martha Review back in December 2014 mostly to share my product reviews but it quickly turned into so much more. Most of my blogs now are about sharing helpful tips, gardening, quick and easy cooking ideas, photography with Wordless Wednesday, family, plus just every day happenings. I even have a Silly Saturday blog which my blogger friend Kebba started and everyone needs a laugh now and then.
Lia is five years old, she turns six in August and loves to share her stories on Friday’s so be sure to check out Friday Story Time by Lia every Friday during the UBC! Sometimes she even takes a day away from me if she needs more days for her blogs! You can read her blogs on her newer category which she started , A Day in Lia’s Shoes.
Lia loves to share her crafts, gardening and baking projects plus updates on school. This is her third year participating in the baking division for the Alzheimer’s Fundraiser. When she was about 2 1/2 years old, we came up with the name of Lia’s Sunshine Bakery because another FB friend and blogger, Brenda, dubbed her “Little Miss Sunshine.” Lis is like a ray of sunshine, always ready to share her smile and brighten your day.
So Lia and I are both looking forward to getting back to blogging with our blogging family and hopefully meeting new bloggers.
How Delightful Thank you for sharing this story.
Thanks Linda, looking forward to checking out your blogs!
I love this so much!!! The family connection, the purpose, and the heart offering! Lia has a bright future of joy ahead of her as she continues to receive support for what she loves! Thank you for that.
Thank you Safrianna, Lia has a heart of gold and is full of love and compassion for others. I am so proud of all she has accomplished at such a young age.
It is so cool that she is still maintaining her participation in the bake sale! I look forward to hearing about what cool things she makes this year!
Lia loves baking and incorporating it in her fundraising efforts is a win win. She gets to bake and people donate to Alzheimer’s. Thanks for visiting Dominique and happy to see you back in the challenge.
Martha, I love following your adventures! Love and hugs–
Thanks Kebba, I never know what adventure will be next, but this challenge is keeping me going. Love and hugs back to you!
