Picture of Grace By Josh Armstrong
What a wonderful, meaningful book about a granddaughter’s love for her grandfather. Grace loved to watch her famous grandfather paint but Delilah, the gallery owner was rushing him to finish the picture he was working on. Grampa loved painting and took his time which made Delilah angry.
As Grace was excited to go visit Grampa to watch him finish his painting, her mother had to tell her the sad news that he passed away. This book has such a beautiful way to show Grace’s feelings and how she coped with her pain and sadness. The author has put so many caring thoughts in this book and whether your child or grandchild has a loving Grampa, this is a wonderful book to read to them if a loved one passes.
The ending is just so full of love and what Grace did for her Grampa wilI bring tears to your eyes. I love the colorful illustrations and the size of the print is great for young children to read along with their parents.
The high quality cover and the picture of Grace with a rose is so touching. Grace reminds me so much of my granddaughter and the love she has for her grandfather. This is definitely a book that will be so useful for my seven grandchildren as their 97 year old great-grandmother is not in good health.
The author, Josh Armstrong is an amazing writer and I’m so blessed to have been given the opportunity to review this book in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. This book will be passed down to my children when the time comes.
This book can be purchase at Amazon in either a hardcover, paperback or e-book and I highly recommend it:
