4th of July
Today is the 4th of July also known as Independence Day. It’s so busy with tourists in our town this weekend that hubby and I decided to sneak away to the peaceful mountains for a few days.
From our balcony we can look at the stream filled with geese and ducks and the fog leaving the mountains. Such a beautiful sight!
Happy 4th of July and hope you all have a fun day and if using fireworks be very careful!
These are some absolutely gorgeous pictures!
I hope you’re having a wonderful, long weekend! Here’s to independence!
Thank you Tamara. Rich and I are actually not doing anything except sitting on the balcony watching the ducks and geese swimming in the river. We have such a beautiful view.
I love that you celebrated this weekend in a way that soothed your soul. The photos are beautiful!
Thanks Nancy, this was the first hubby and I have had a sneak away without extra passengers in a long time. LOL
Gorgeous. So much gratefulness this 4th of July as I look at your photos. They’re beautiful
Sitting on the river bank and looking at the sky was so peaceful and I was able to see all I was grateful for Lisa.
Wishing you a wonderful 4th of July. We hope you have a fun and safe holiday weekend! Enjoy the festivities with your family and friends and I’ll be back tomorrow to read some more!
Thanks Paul, we had a quiet, enjoyable, peaceful 4th along the river at Nantahala National Park in NC!
Enjoy your getaway. It wasn’t clear if it were a romantic escapade for two- or a gigantic family gathering!
LOL Lia is in Florida with her grandparents so Rich and I snuck away to give Alex some peace and quiet for a few days Roy. In a few weeks were all going to upstate NY for our 55th wedding anniversary.
Happy fourth of July Martha.Have a wonderful day.
We had such a relaxing few days Amrita!

It definitely is a wonderful place to escape to Julie! Every time we go, I take pictures but they are never the same!
Martha, I’m glad you snuck away! What beautiful images, plus a quizzical face on Lia! Delightful. I hope you and Pa are enjoying the holiday weekend!
Thanks Kebba, I love taking pictures where ever we go. This was Lia’s 1st 4th of July!

Thanks Brenda, it was so relaxing to do nothing but we aren’t use to it!
Looks like fun. Matt and I had a quiet Forth of July. We had leftover Vegetable Subs from HillTop. We did hear some fireworks though from our apartment.
Sounds like a nice quiet night Amanda. Sometimes those are the best.
