25th Consecutive Ultimate Blog Challenge
The January UBC is over and I just completed my 25th consecutive Ultimate Blog Challenge! When I signed up for my first UBC in January 2016 I never had a clue I would be writing and reading so many interesting blogs. I didn’t realize I would participate in each and every UBC and now here I am, my 25th!! I also didn’t realize my blogger friends would become just like family! I can’t even begin to name those that have touched my heart over the past six years.
Of course if it wasn’t for our awesome host, Paul, I may not even joined in a blog challenge. I may have just continued on doing product reviews on my blog and never ventured into my other categories. I’m SO SO GLAD I found this challenge and thank you Paul for keeping it going year after year.
Another big thank you goes to all those who have contributed their blogs to make this challenge so successful. I have enjoyed connecting with all of you and learning from your blogs. Thank you for visiting our blog, leaving comments, sharing, liking and being a friend!
Now on to my 25th Consecutive UBC celebration! You are all invited to join Lia and me for some tea and cookies! Of course Lia made the cookies for this special occasion.
We all know a party wouldn’t be complete without dancing so put your dancing shoes on. Lia will be dancing and sharing her smile, so come join in and smile back!
As our 25th celebrating ends, so does the January Ultimate Blog Challenge and I have to end it with my poem I wrote a few years back. CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who completed this challenge and even if you didn’t quite get all 31 blogs written you are still a winner for giving it your all! Yesterday’s suggested blog topic was what do you do to help stay motivated and boost yoour determination during the blog challenge. I think this says it all… I live for a challenge, I love a challenge and setting goals. When I start a blog challenge, I know I have to do my best and I’m determined to complete it!
Thank you, thank you and thank you from Lia and me! Our goal for the next few months until the next UBC is to write a few blogs each week and of course Lia will be sharing her Friday Story Time by Lia!
But (there always seems to be a but at the end!) I have to tell you about Lia’s latest project. When I was working on my 25th thank you poster, Lia asked if she could make one too. I use the Canva program and love it! So I showed Lia where the blank template was and that was it. She started with a thank you in the center, then found a heart and looked a bit more and found a border. She had so much fun coming up with her colors, putting little hearts around the edges and even figured out how to drag and resize them. She ended her poster by “signing” it and even added me to her signature line!
This is Lia’s thank you poster for everyone who visited, read, liked and shared her Friday Story Time by Lia blogs! She sure has a fun time sharing A Day in Lia’s Shoes with you all! I think I may have a graphic designer in the making and I also have a feeling I’ll be losing my laptop to Lia! See you all in the next few months until the next UBC!!!
Whoo hoo!! CONGRATULATIONS, Martha and Lia! It has been wonderful getting to know you and reading your blog posts. I’ll be back for tea. π

I sure would enjoy a cup of tea and some cookies with you two. Lia looks lovely in pink. You, too, Martha, high up on the ladder. 25 challenges. That’s awesome. Congrats!
I think it would be great if I could have a real tea party with the fabulous bloggers I have met Lily! I won’t say the past 25 challenges were easy, some were indeed a challenge within the challenge. But I didn’t quit and I learned so much from other blogs!
Loved the poem, Martha!
