2021 NMB Christmas Light Show

I have an excited Friday Story Time by Lia for you today! Last night pop, ma, mommy, her friend and I went to the 2021 NMB Christmas Light Show! It’s the 4th year I’ve gone and there are so many lights!

For the first part of the North Myrtle Beach light show we drove around and saw so many different displays. Mommy, her friend and I got to ride in the bed of pop’s truck so I go to see the displays really good! Ma took this picture through the back sliding window!

There was music playing and the lights twinkled on and off to the beat of the music. It’s so fun to hear the Christmas songs! I even found Nemo!

This is one of the videos mommy took while we were riding in the back on the truck! I was even dancing to the music!

One of my favortive displays was Digger! I love watching diggers in the dirt and I even asked Santa for one!

At the end of the drive around we ended up at Santa’s Village! Pop and I strolled through a tunnel of lights to get to even more displays. Look at this beautiful Christmas tree!!

Of course Santa was there waiting to hear what everyone wanted for Christmas!

I had fun at the petting zoo and even fed the animals. Look at this cute little one, he came right up to me so I had to spend some extra time with him.

There were super big ornaments full of lights that we could walk in! Ma took a picture of mommy and me inside the big ornament! Then mommy and I made funny faces in this display! Mommy was Santa and I was a reindeer!

It was chilly but we all had a great time. The marshmallow roast was real fun! We each got a long stick and they had fire pits to roast the marshmallows in. Ma roasted this one, look how golden brown it is!

After walking around Santa’s Village it was time to take a train ride around the park to see the light display again.

What a fun night we all had at the 2021 NMB Christmas Light Show! I ended up getting tired so pop carried me through the lighted up trees to get back to our truck.

This is my 4th year of visiting the show and it’s more exciting every year. These are pictures of me from the 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 Christmas light show, look how much I’ve grown! I hope you enjoyed my Friday Story Time by Lia! I’ll be busy over the weekend making some Christmas goodies!!

We did this last year while in Tulsa with our daughter and her husband after they had their micro-preemie baby. It was such a beautiful experience. Looks like Lia may be in the running for one of Santa’s elves. She’s a natural!

How much fun is this! I remember going on drives to see lights as a kid too but nothing quite this grand! Lia, you look like you had so much fun!

But I must ask — had you had a roasted marshmallow before? You looked like you weren’t sure about the whole thing! LOL

Have a great weekend! Thank you for sharing!

I remember driving around with my mom an dad when I was young but like you Dominique, the displays were nothing like what is out there today! She’s roasted marshmallows before but by the time we got the the roasting station Lia was running out of steam! LOL
