2 in 1 Hummingbird Feeder

I love watching the birds in our backyard, especially the hummingbirds and was so excited when I received this 2 in 1 Hummingbird Feeder to review.

The cool thing about this feeder is that I can attach it to a window with the suction cups or hang from a tree or pole with the chains.  I opted to hang mine hummingbird feeder on one of our bird feeding poles so I can watch the birds from the house.

When using a sugar mixture, it’s sure to bring ants and bees but I don’t have to worry about them getting into the hummingbird food mixture because the feeder has a built-in ant moat and bee guards plus it has a detachable lid for easy cleaning and to refill.  It also comes with a cleaning brush to clean out the feeding ports of any sugary build-up.

There are many different styles of hummingbird feeders and I have never had hummingbirds stay at our feeders very long because they don’t have anywhere to perch while drinking.  I like this Sherwoodbase Cuboid 2 the best because it is designed with a sturdy perch for the hummingbirds.  They can rest comfortably while eating and I’ve noticed them coming around more often and staying longer.  It’s hard to get good pictures but I was excited when this little guy stayed around for such a long time.

Since we recently had a hurricane in our area, I wasn’t sure if the hummingbirds would return but as soon as I put this feeder together and added the sugar mixture, I had hummingbirds that very day!  I love watching them fly in and with them perch on this feeder, they stayed long enough so I could get some great photos.  I was even able to get a short video of a beautiful green hummingbird flying in for a drink.

I am pleased with the quality and construction of this Sherwoodbase 2 in 1 Hummingbird Feeder constructed with the high quality materials that will not break and it’s even backed by their Lifetime Warranty and 30 days money back guarantee.

  1. How cute! I hope it attracts hummingbirds in flocks. They’re fun to watch!

I love watching them too Priscilla! We usually have 3 that show up at the same time but only one goes to the feeder at a time. Hopefully they will all share! LOL
