Hiking, Waterfalls, Rocks, and Mountains

Today is Wordless Wednesday but Lia and I are sharing so many photos of hiking, falls, rocks and mountains along with words to go with them. We took a little get-away to Western North Carolina around Bryson City, Cherokee and Murphy to view some awesome waterfalls.

Lia and I hope you enjoyed hiking with us to see all the beautiful sites made by nature.

I started my blog on Christmas Day 2014 mainly to review products I received. Since then it has evolved into many other categories of lifestyles, family, money saving ideas, low cost, delicious and healthy meals plus other surprise posts. My granddaughter has her own category, Alex's Articles and the latest addition to my blog is my great granddaughter now has her category, Lia's Likings The Baby Blogger! Lia started blogger at 8 months old and she now has a Friday Story Time blog you won't want to miss! I welcome you to join the conversation, ask a question, give a suggestion or leave a comment on any blog post. I hope you enjoy Lia's Likings, she has some great posts that will make you smile!

  1. What a beautiful outing for the whole family. I’m not sure I’d make it up all those stairs with my wonky ankle but sure enjoyed your photos.

Well had I know how many steps I may have given it a second thought Virginia. We started climbing and realized there was no end in sight. But once to the top, the waterfall was magnificent. I got the idea to count them on the way down!

  2. What amazing pictures!! I’m so glad you guys got to go. What a great experience for Lia!

  3. Martha, how GORGEOUS, how STUNNING! Thank you so much for sharing the landscapes of your hike! May I use a couple of the photos for quote posters, with credit given? Any scenes like these would be far away from our place in increasingly urban Phoenix!

We had such a great time and Lia was excited to find another hiking stick! Feel free to use any of the photos, there are lots more waterfalls we have to visit so I’ll have more pictures!

Martha, I love this excellent post. That must have taken hours to pull it all together.
The pictures are beautiful and I wish I was there with you and your family.

Thanks Doug, I had so many pictures I had to decide from. I started working on it when we left the mountains and 8 hours later when we returned home it was done. I loved the short videos that mommy took of Lia!
