Delicious Sliced Potatoes
I have had my Chef’s Choice Food Slicer
since March and love how it slices meats and cheese. While I was preparing the potatoes for dinner, I started slicing them very thin with a knife and then I realized I could slice them the perfect width in less time with my food slicer! I made the most delicious sliced potatoes with onions and bacon for dinner.
Look how quick and easy the food slicer makes the potatoes perfect on every slice.
I sliced four large potatoes, leaving the skin on and put in a pan with a packet of dry onion soup mix, a large onion thinly sliced, four tablespoons of butter and a few pieces of crumbled up bacon.
Next I gentle mixed everything together then poured it on a piece of aluminium foil sprayed with oil and covered with another piece of foil. I put the foil on a baking pan so it wouldn’t drip while baking in the oven. The chicken was already in the oven and it only took about 45 minutes for the potatoes to bake at 350 degrees. For a variety, you could even add shredded cheese to the mix.
This is such an easy but delicious way to prepare potatoes, a great change from mashed, baked or boiled ones.
