A Way To Re-Purpose Packaging From Products

When you order something, do you remove the item from the package, then take it out of the plastic protectors that it is in?   Then we usually throw the packaging away, right?   I have come up with a way to re-purpose some of those shaped plastic protectors to save the land fill and save you money.

organizers

I turned them into organizers for all my charging cables and and adapters. I had a small one with low sides so I’m using that for all my SD cards.

If you are into crafting, you can use them for stencils, glue sticks, beads, or just about anything you can think of.   They are also great for paperclips and rubber bands to keep neatly in your desk drawer.  The ideas are endless, what can you come up with?

So instead of buying little storage containers, I just use the ones that come with products I order!  I love coming up with ideas to save money and re-use things.

I’m reorganizing my office and desk and need storage containers but instead of spending money I have put Charlie into finding or making things I can use in his Homeschool Art Class.

That’s a great idea for Charlie! I hardly ever buy storage containers, I use things like in my blog that come from packages I’ve received Glenda.

  2. I dunno, Martha. Still looks like clutter to me.
